Foremost in my work are the client's wishes. In the planning stage, I consider the site, the architecture, existing soils, water availability, sun and shade patterns, existing plants and new to be added, all materials for construction - all the physical elements that will blend into a cohesive unified whole for the site, whether private gardens or commercial/public sites.Translating the style into details of scale, form, texture and color is the essence for me as a landscape designer. Excellent workmanship in the execution is key to a successful end result.
