BS in Landscape Architecture from The Ohio State University, Registered Landscape Architect, long time member of the American Society of Landscape Architects. Now based near Asheville, North Carolina, during a career spanning 40 years, I have worked on well over 300 private gardens in North Carolina, New Jersey, Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts, Ohio, California, Florida, West Virginia and Virginia .

A design background in both Landscape Architecture and Interior Design, and extensive botanical knowledge, enable me to integrate house and garden thoughtfully into the larger regional landscape. In addition, my European roots as well as extensive travels to many parts of the world have given me exposure to diverse architectures, gardens and natural landscapes. I have been a gardener since age 7 when my Mother gave me my first little plot. I am a long time member in various botanical gardens and organizations including The North American Rock Garden Society, The Conifer Society, the American Rhododendron Society (where I am currently the President of the South-Eastern chapter).

My work has been published in a variety of magazines and books. Over the last 40 years I have given programs to horticultural societies and garden clubs as well as a course on landscape architecture to professional garden designers.
